Advent calendar day 13: Win our Heelwork webinar

In our advent calendar you’ll be able to win private online sessions with Elsa Blomster or Lena Gunnarsson, our book Retrieving for All Occasions” (printed and e-book), our study guides or one of our many online courses (without feedback)! There will be a new gift every day, but some might show up twice so don’t give up if you don’t win the first time.

Today’s gift is our heelwork webinar for you or a friend.

During this webinar Elsa and Lena will talk about how they train gun dog heelwork: where they start, how they move on, what they think is important to keep in mind and of course they answer common questions!

Winner day 11 – online course “Heelwork for gundogs w/o feedback”

Congratulations to the winner from day 11, online course “Heelwork for gundogs w/o feedback”, Dirk Meurer who wrote “I would love to win this course! IMO heel work is one of the most strong-arm training units in „traditional“ gundog training. And I definitely want to go the force free way.” Send an e-mail to info@retrievingforalloccasions.com and we’ll give you access to the course!

Sometimes I get great attention from my Brittany while heeling but other times the environment wins out. Would love to get the expert’s angle on how to draw the best out of my dog.

  2. I would love to win the Heelwork Webinar. I have a high energy, high drive Standard poodle. We work on force free obedience in the field all the time and are making progress, but he finds it SO HARD to walk calmly at heel in such an exciting environment. I would love some assistance!!!

  3. Heel work if a must with dogs. I know mine need a refresher course as my youngest broke whilst hunting this season and now I need to take her back to basics.

  4. Heelwork is an very underestimated excersise in dogtraining. I try to train it several times a week with my dog with a lot of challenge and surprises so that she loves to do it, But I’m very curious how you teach this excersise. Hope that you can give me different view.
