Dummy throwing challenge part 7: Rabbit throws
All game doesn’t fly high, challenge yourself by practicing rabbit throws!

Think of bowling! Release the dummy early and don’t swing it too high. Bending your knees, just like when bowling, might be helpful as well.

Today’s video is about different types of throws:

Depending on how you hold the dummy the length and precision of the throw will vary. Throwing by holding the string usually makes the throw longer but not very accurate. The type of dummy you use will of course also affect the throw. #dummythrowingchallenge

Today my focus was to do long throws, which I think is the hardest ones. I combined it with training the girls; Tassla, Flippa and Bix. Steadiness, marking, stop signal and holding an area was today’s focus. They were of course stars 🤩 but I need to practice my “dummy-arm” a lot more. 🙈😎🙄😉 #dummythrowingchallenge ...

A Wet But Great Weekend Camp

A Wet But Great Weekend Camp

A fond memory just showed up in our feed - our summer camp in 2017! After a long and very intense weekend at the beautiful place Sjöön in the south of Sweden we almost have a post-summer camp depression. Those days required a lot of planning and we had a lot of things...

Take the first one!

Take the first one!

If there are more than one dummy out there in a field Quling gladly picks up one, then changes his mind, and picks up another one. That’s why I have done a lot of exercises to teach him to take one and then deliver that one to me – and not take another one. The...

I continue my journey through the archives and found this training session with Tassla when she was quite young. The other day I was out in the meadow training with Tassla. I placed Tassla on her pause station, a blanket by my backpack, walked out a bit and threw...
